NIC District Centre Shajapur ,established in the year 1988 has gradually come out as a source of expansion ICT services in the district . It has played a leading role in MIS and a Decision support system for district administration . NIC Shajapur extended NICNET services, when no Internet facility was there which was known as DICNET. NIC District Centre has played a key role in making general public aware of ICT applications. NIC District Centre provides technical support to other departments in basic computer training , application specific training , implementation ,recruitment process ,presentations and networking.
